Now that the temperatures are rising and the spring and summer seasons are here, the games with water balloons are a super fun alternative to celebrate a birthday, especially if it is a celebration outside in the garden area. The kids love the water balloons, they are refreshing, challenging to improve your aim, and super funny when they explode on someone else. Next, we offer some fun dynamics to gain maximum benefits from water balloons:

  • Balloongol: In a field with two areas you can make two teams, and with a blanket they must hold as a team, they must transport a pack of water balloons from one side to the other without popping or dropping a single balloon in order to score. Whichever team gains more points wins.
  • Blind Man’s Bluff: Two teams arrange themselves in two facing lines, each one with half of their players with blindfolded and an assigned numbers. In between both lines you place a water balloon and when a number is yelled, the players that have the number assigned must run to the center of the field and find the balloon with their teammate’s indications, and then throw it to their opponent.
  • The race: In couples, with a water balloon placed between their backs, they must reach the finish line without allowing the balloon to fall or explode, or they will have to start over. Whoever reaches the finish line first wins.
  • Basketballoon: Create two teams. All players arrange themselves in line and two players from each team in the center, with two buckets with which they must catch the water balloons their teammates throw. Whoever has most water in their bucket wins.

The piñata: It simply consists in a piñata filled with water balloons by tying a series of balloons to a rope and allowing the kids to break them blindfolded with a tube.
