Birthday parties, festivals and carnivals are special events perfect for you to show off your skills at balloon art. Before a party, usually you have to decorate the place. Usually, a living room or a dining room…a rather large space able to welcome a lot of people allowing them to be comfortable. To decorate a place like this we need lots of elements such as balloons.
Balloon art is very common when we attend, for example, festivals or parties where kids represent are a big percentage on the guest list. Due to its twisting properties, who hasn’t already seen a sword or a giraffe made out of balloons? We often also see mouse balloons, snake balloons or even fish balloons. This art is, without a doubt, very fun and advisable to make laugh and amuse kids.
But this art is not only about making figures out of balloons; there’re other kinds of arts and crafts with balloons that, even if they’re less popular they’re much more original and attractive. For example, we can decorate with balloons choosing the rainbow color spectrum: red, orange, yellow, green, blur, violet and cyan. Combining these colors appropriately, they can add warmth to any kind of party.
Also, with different color balloons you can create funny cartoons using the balloons as the face and decorating it accordingly with its nose, eyes, mouth, etc; but there’s also balloon art that doesn’t directly decorate the balloon. That is, in this art you can play with the balloon as you wish and when you’re done you only need to tie some threads to pliers and placing it over a little figure. That way you’ll get a pretty fun and amusing décor thanks to balloon art.
Here’s an easy example for making a butterfly with balloons. First of all we inflate 4 small balloons; two of them have to be a little bigger. We join the balloons tying them leaving the bigger ones on the top and that’s how we get the wings. For the body we’ll use a big and thin balloon inflating only the center of it and leaving deflated both ends, once it’s inflated we place them between the 4 balloons (wings) and we’ll tie the ends that aren’t inflated. For the feelers we’ll inflate another thin and tall balloon and we’ll carefully place it between the wings and the body (upper part) and to attach it, we’ll carefully twist it to make a knot and there you have it: a butterfly made out of balloons
